Advisory
Due diligence
before you commit.
Independent advice on condition, cost and value — before the contract, not after it.
Buying property in Cayman is a fast process and an expensive one. Most of the money that gets lost is lost before completion, in things nobody checked because nobody independent was asked to look.
What we check
- Condition. Structure, roof, envelope, mechanical services and the hurricane resilience of what you are buying.
- Cost. What the works you are being told about will actually cost, priced by quantity surveyors rather than estimated by the seller.
- Value. An independent view of the number, benchmarked against real transaction evidence.
- Strata exposure. Reserve fund health, pending special assessments and the state of the corporation you are about to join.
Independent means independent
We do not sell property, we do not take commission and we have no relationship with the agent. The only thing we are paid for is the advice.
